The tale:

In Georgian fairy tales, the apple often appears as the fruit of the tree of life, or as a sign that leads the hero to where they need to be. However, most fascinating is the apple given to a childless couple — a fruit that somehow loses one of its halves or ends up in the hands of another woman. As a result, two boys are born at the same time… Years later, their destinies intertwine in such a way that they cannot endure hardship without each other. Yet, through mutual help, they overcome the greatest trials…

About Igrika:

Igrika is a creative studio founded in 2020 by Georgian graphic designer and illustrator Baia Lomsadze and her husband, woodcarving artist Grigoli Dalakishvili, with a mission to bring Georgian cultural heritage into contemporary design. Drawing inspiration from forgotten folkloric symbols and traditional Georgian ornaments, the studio reinterprets historical motifs through a fresh and modern perspective.

How we made it: 

Each stamp is crafted from rubber and features a high-precision, particularly deep engraving to capture every detail.

Mounted on a lacquered beechwood handle and precisely aligned by hand, it delivers a clean and reliable impression every time it is used.

Stamp size: 3/3 cm (1.18/1.18 inches)

Suitable for paper and fabric. Clean with water and a little washing-up liquid if needed, then dry thoroughly.
