The Tale:

This particular artwork was modeled after the multicolored decorations of the church of Iphrari, painted in 1096. Not many names of medieval Georgian painters have remained until modern times, much less of those who have decorated three churches with all of them being dated. However, as it turns out, the painter of the “Iphrari” church mentions himself as “Theodore, the painter of the King”. It is assumed, that he was a royal painter of the magnificent king David IV “the Builder”.

What it offers:

We made this short table runner on Iphrari church wall decoration motifs. With the soft cotton material, burgundy and yellow non-toxic inks, and fabulous tale behind, We create a vintage table runner, that has a very strong and aesthetic spirit. A symphony of flowery stars surrounds the focal round ornamentations, crafting perfect balance, that’s why this flower pattern short table runner gives every space a pleasant atmosphere of spring-summer time. So, if you are deeply in love with handcrafted art and mystical stories hidden for centuries, our short table runner, made with heart, is the perfect possibility.

Please note: In our shop, you'll also discover Flowers of Iphrari in sky-blue and light green colors. you will also find a tote bag adorned with the same composition.
