The church of Iphrari, painted in 1096. Not many names of medieval Georgian painters have remained until modern times, much less of those who have decorated three churches with all of them being dated. However, as it turns out, the painter of the “Iprari” church mentions himself as “Theodore, the painter of the King”. It is assumed, that he was a royal painter of the magnificent king David IV “the Builder"

 How We Make It:

• The crafting technique of this fashion bag relate to traditional hand block printing, using wooden or linoleum blocks.

Characteristics, Cleaning and Care:

• The bags material, being made mostly by cotton, does not absorb the liquids easily, therefore permanent stains can be avoided very simply, if shaken soon after the liquid is poured on it.
• Wash in the washing machine at 30°C /86°F on a soft and short washing program. Do not use bleach or detergents containing bleach. Tumble dry low. Hot ironing if necessary.
