" Paskunji " - block printed yellow colored cotton tote bag
" Paskunji " - block printed yellow colored cotton tote bag
The cotton Tote bag Esquisse is created with motifs inspired by an ancient Georgian philosophical fairytale known as "Paskunji."
The little and very interesting interlude in this enchanting tale:
"...Now Remember what I shall tell you – one week from now you will stumble upon two springs, one of milk and another of blood. If you want to emerge victorious, do not touch the milk, but taste a handful of blood. But do not frown upon it or say “What a foul thing it was''. After that, you’ll have to walk on a road of thorns. Thorns and teasels are filling the entire land. You must walk on the road barefoot and naked, and no matter the pain you’ll suffer, you mustn’t change your heart and say something as “What a dreadful road it was to thread upon ''. After that, wounded and maimed, you’ll have to cross the lake of saltwater. Jump and swim across it and as before, do not mention it in a bad manner, such as, “What awful water it was”. If you cross the lake, you shall reach the fountain of Eternal Life. After all that torment, the moment you’ll lie down in that spring, you’ll be fully healed and feel such a relief, as if you were born anew. If you can endure all of this, if you can muster the courage necessary to embark upon this path, then go forth and press on. But if not, if there’s a doubt in your heart, turn back and do not let your virtue and valor be squandered in vain..."
