Taurus – beautiful boho table runner with animal print

The Tale:

Our composition was inspired by the treasures of „Sairkhe“ (originating in 1st millennium BC), where the powerful and mysterious animal, the bull, is listening to the messengers of Heaven. Seven thousand years ago, ancient agricultural themes appeared in the cult. Thus, the bull was made into a subject of deification from the start, including its images as well. As it turns out, since that time bulls were considered to be the founders of agriculture and were connected to the cult of the moon…

• Gregor Dalakishvili and Baia Lomsadze, are dedicated to reviving ancient Georgian Symbols and artwork in a modern way, while not stripping them from their meanings. We weave our craft, for the enigma of Georgian culture extends beyond borders, like a global treasure. Our fervent desire is to unveil its magic to the world, kindling love and excitement, transforming ancient tales into present narratives.

How We Make It:

• The boho table runners crafting technique relate to traditional hand block printing, using wooden or linoleum blocks.

Characteristics, Cleaning and Care:

• Materials: 65% cotton 35% polyester
• Size: 175 x 40 cm (69 x 15.7 in)
• The vintage runner material, being made mostly by cotton, does not absorb the liquids easily, therefore permanent stains can be avoided very simply, if shaken soon after the liquid is poured on it.
•  Wash in the washing machine at 30°C /86°F on a soft and short washing program. Do not use bleach or detergents containing bleach. Tumble dry low. Hot ironing if necessary.
