Necklace for a woman handmade of brass

In Georgian folk tales, there are stories of heroic women who set out on roads “from which there is no return,” and of those whose courage, wit, and foresight helped heroes overcome impossible obstacles. Inspired by these remarkable women, we created this unique piece of jewelry.

In one such tale, a fearless woman journeys into the realm of light with her infant bound to her back, while all her companions perish along the way. When she finally reaches the blazing Sun, the Sun’s Mother receives her as a guest, listens to her plea, and sends her back with the water in which the Sun has bathed — a sacred gift to save her beloved husband.

Our modern necklace's irregular textured surface and timeless silhouette balance a bold presence with refined simplicity, creating a piece that feels powerful yet effortless. How we make it:

Designed by IGRIKA and produced at the ILEKRONY workshop. All necklaces are handcrafted and finished by hand using natural and recycled materials, ensuring a one-of-a-kind character. The brass, bronze, or melchior is subtly oxidized (“eldered”) to create darker tones, and as it ages, the evolving patina makes each necklace increasingly personal.

Care guide: 

Keep your unique necklace dry and away from perfumes or chemicals. Store in a pouch or box, and gently polish with a soft cloth to maintain its shine and patina.
