The Tale:

This Esquisse was inspired by the colorful paintings on the walls of the church of Krikhi.

As it turns out, leaves were considered to be the symbols of immortality, as, during the fall, leaves would turn into earth, being reborn later and this cycle would continue incessantly.

How We Make It:

  • The Akvaneba birds zipper pouches crafting technique relate to traditional hand block printing, using wooden or linoleum blocks.  

Characteristics, Cleaning and Care:

  • Materials: 65% cotton 35% polyester.
  • Size: 27 x 15 cm (10.6 x 6 in)
  • The material, being made mostly by cotton, does not absorb the liquids easily, therefore permanent stains can be avoided very simply, if shaken soon after the liquid is poured on it.
  • Wash in the washing machine at 30°C /86°F on a soft and short washing program. Do not use bleach or detergents containing bleach. Tumble dry low. Hot ironing if necessary.
  • This zipper Pouch can be used for storing and transporting small and relatively light items, such as hygienic utilities, pens & pencils, small booklets, as well as products below the weight of 1 kilo. Do NOT transport sharp objects with the Pouch, as it can severely damage the product.

Please note! Linen made of natural fibers usually shrinks between 4-10% when washed for the first time.
